Body Parts

As previously written, the body is the most important part of the external parts. The mechabox is inserted into the body, where only the trigger and the outer part of the cylinder can be seen out of the body at the time of the hop up.
Next, the outer barrel is inserted into the body, which is then secured with a deltaring or foregrip nut ( depending on the type of foregrip). Next, the stock tube is screwed in with the stock, buttplate and a number of small but important parts ( we wrote about these earlier).

WHAT MATERIALS ARE THE BODIES MADE OF ?

The materials from which the bodies are most often made are plastic ( for example the legendary Cyma 028), metal alloy, which is the most commonly used material. We can also come across steel bodies ( for example LCT or E&L ), as well as CNC bodies that are machined from aircraft duralumin. The latter are more expensive, but the quality of workmanship is incomparable to alloy ones.

Do the bodies have any interesting features ?

Today's bodies have various useful extras such as a quick spring removal feature which, when used in conjunction with a mechabox of the same function, allows us to quickly change the spring without removing the mechabox from the gun body.
