Triggers RetroArms

The trigger is the part through which we signal the airsoft gun to fire. As we wrote about the switch contacts, the upper hidden part of the trigger in the mechabox either pushes on the switch contacts or in the case of a processor unit carries the signaling element to fire the shot, or directly pushes on the micro switch. In our range you can find triggers not only for AR15, but also for AK, HI-Cap etc.

The triggers can both shorten the reaction time of the shot and show the surroundings your distinctive style!

Earlier types of triggers were curved in a "C" shape. Today, however, we prefer mainly differently shaped triggers. Among the most popular are sporting straight or slightly curved triggers, where you get a much better response when shooting. These triggers are most often made of duralumin, which is color anodized so you can color match your airsoft gun to make every player envious. RetroArms, for example, offers a large number of triggers for both AKs and AR15s that boast a large variety of color options and trigger shapes.

Our tip: Installing any trigger requires you to have expert knowledge. So if you are unsure, we recommend entrusting your gun to our service centre.

What is the difference between a classic trigger and a sport trigger?

The classic trigger has a long travel, so the trigger response is not immediate. This fact, however, does not apply when using a processor unit, at which point the response can also be fine-tuned.

Sport straight triggers have a different lever angle and therefore have a much shorter travel, which makes the response of the gun much better. With the MAXX triggers we can adjust the travel using "worms", which in conjunction with the processor unit creates an even faster gun in terms of trigger response.

Something more:

For MilSim enthusiasts and those players who try to get as close to the real thing as possible, the trigger can be combined with a processor unit and Muggles to simulate a sharp trigger action. This means that when the trigger is pulled, at a certain point you will encounter resistance like a real gun, which must be overcome to initiate the shot.

These modules are offered by companies such as Perun Airsoft for their processor units (Hybrid V2).
