Specna Arms Edge
The Edge series has taken the Specna Arms brand a big step forward. The series comes with several novelties thanks to which users will achieve better performance in the field and, above all, long-term wear resistance. The bodies of weapons in the Edge series, as well as in the ONE series, are all-metal with attention to detail.
The guns of this series are again equipped with the ESA system for quick exchange of the spring. You can replace the spring through the tube directly in the field. But what makes the Edge series special is above all the new reinforced ORION gearbox. In addition to reinforcing the gearbox, the manufacturer also thought of selecting radii in the front part of the gearbox, which significantly reduces the risk of cracks in the event of air-conditioning impacts. The Mechabox is also equipped with a metal nozzle, a metal cylinder head and a piston. Double seals are used for better sealing.
The Mechabox is equipped with a part metal and part polymer spring guide mandrel and metal 8 mm bearings. The piston is made of polymer with metal teeth. Of course, there are also metal wheels, thanks to which the weapon can withstand stronger springs.
A novelty of the Edge series is the use of the X-ASR Mosfet from the Polish company GATE. This top quality MOSFET provides safe switching to protect internals, improve trigger response and extend electronics and battery life. Thanks to the integrated status diodes, it enables the diagnosis of basic weapon faults. Weapons can easily handle 7.4V or 11.1V LI-Po batteries.
