The charging lever on airsoft guns is used to open the ejection window for the HOP UP chamber. It consists of the lever itself, a spring and a plastic part which, when pulled, lowers the ejection window cap.

 

How does the bolt lever work on a firearm?

In edged weapons, this lever also has another function, which is to extend the bolt and load the cartridge from the magazine into the chamber. This mechanism is very realistically simulated in gas guns.

Our tip: It is not necessary to use a lot of force to pull the cocking lever on airsoft guns. If handled carelessly, there is a high risk of breaking a small plastic part and having to replace it with a new part. There is also a risk of damaging the spring in the cocking lever.
